Choosing my music

Music

To find the suitable music for my film opening I used : audio network.lgfl.org.uk
I used this website to find music for my film opening as these pieces of music are not copyrighted. I spent a while looking for the right music pieces, there was a wide range of music to choose from and many genres and moods. This was very helpful as I could use the mood option to find a suitable piece of music for the section of my film that I wanted to use it in.

Music that I thought was suitable

  • Exorcist
  • Frozen Teardrop
  • Way of life
  • Palpitation
  • New age
The two final pieces that I chose were 'Frozen Teardrop' and 'Way of Life'. I used 'Way of Life' for the first section of my film opening as it was a calm, cheerful piece of music and it sets the mood, as the film opening is very calm at the beginning, as there is just a boy walking. The second piece of music was also a good choice as it created tension and it makes the audience want to know what is happening and who 'The Laurels' are.
